REFORMULATION (PARAPHRASING)
The most obvious way from music to movement. It happens by default, since literal transliteration of music into movement is virtually impossible.
SALAMI TECHNIQUE
Dividing a long musical sentence into meaningful “chunks” and interpreting them without a loss of meaning of the whole sentence. This technique is safest/easiest on the dance floor.

EXPLANATION
Music may use circumlocutions (long roundabout ways of saying something which should have been short). Explain to your partner what you hear using more concise movements.
